Maiora unveils the new M|30: an unprecedented onboard experience that removes boundaries between yacht and sea

Cannes, September 9, 2026
Maiora, a brand of Next Yacht Group, presents the world premiere of M|30, the first model in the new M Collection, introducing a new design philosophy in which architecture, design and perception merge into a single vision: a space where the sea is no longer a backdrop but an integral part of the onboard experience.

Maiora unveils the new M|30: an unprecedented onboard experience that removes boundaries between yacht and sea

With an overall length of 30.40 metres and a beam of 7.50 metres, the yacht features three decks and five cabins accommodating up to 12 guests, including an owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest suites on the lower deck. Crew quarters accommodate up to 5 people in 3 cabins, including a private captain’s cabin. Powered by two 2,000 hp MAN V12-2000 engines, M|30 reaches a top speed of 21 knots.
M|30 is the result of a collaboration between Maiora and the award-winning Quartostile studio, responsible for the exterior design, while interiors were developed by Maiora’s Style Centre together with ACUBE to ensure a seamless continuity between naval architecture and the living experience.
“Rather than designing a boat, the goal was to create an onboard experience: remove the boundaries between inside and outside, use light as a design material, and design continuous pathways instead of separate spaces,” comment Franco Carone, Matteo Broglia and Andrea Sartori of Quartostile.
This vision is expressed through elegance by subtraction, spatial permeability, visual and functional continuity, invisible innovation and a constant relationship with the water. The near-coupé profile, full-beam bow, expansive glazing and distinctive lateral light signature — the signature family feeling of the entire M collection — create an instantly recognisable silhouette, conveying a sense of dynamism and lightness even at anchor.
Surfaces are sculpted rather than drawn. Every curve and proportion has been carefully developed to create balance rather than ostentation. “The lines do not seek to impress: they seek to endure. The result is a profile that time cannot erode. An aesthetic built on proportions, materials and formal relationships that never grow old” conclude Quartostile.
The onboard experience is built around the concept of continuity, articulated across three distinct yet interdependent dimensions: visual, where sightlines unfold uninterrupted from stern to bow; functional, where walkaround circulation provides a barrier-free route throughout the yacht; and perceptual, where the onboard experience flows seamlessly from one environment to the next. It is not simply a matter of physical passageways, but an architecture of uninterrupted experience. In this respect, the opening hatch integrated into the port-side passageway, when closed, creates a complete continuity of the route. The result is a fluid and secure walkway that transforms circulation into a progressive journey of discovery throughout the yacht.
The enlarged and even more functional beach area connects directly with the cockpit, conceived as a true waterfront lounge: no longer simply a transitional space between the yacht and the water, but the social heart of the yacht, where time slows down and conviviality takes its most natural form.

MAIN DECK
On the main deck, the design philosophy of the M line finds one of its most distinctive expressions. Relocating the technical elements towards the exterior, together with full-height windows and uninterrupted glazed surfaces, eliminates traditional visual barriers.
The approximately 36-square-metre saloon has been designed by the Maiora Style Office to offer maximum versatility. Custom sofas and the dining area can be configured in different layouts, while a neutral color palette allows the owner to personalize details and finishes without compromising the overall stylistic coherence. The result is a space that is not perceived as an enclosed interior, but as a natural extension of the outdoor areas, perfectly aligned with the philosophy of the M collection.
Forward, the full-beam owner’s suite is conceived as a genuine approximately 30-square-metre apartment at sea. Expansive glazed surfaces flood the space with natural light and create a constant connection with the surrounding landscape. The centerpiece of the layout, the suite incorporates a study area, a chaise longue, a generous dressing area and a private bathroom, with scope for further layout customization.
No longer a space dedicated solely to rest, but a private habitat designed to offer comfort, privacy and a continuous connection with the sea throughout the day.

LOWER DECK
The lower deck accommodates four guest cabins, including VIP and guest cabins, each measuring approximately 12 square metres and designed to ensure high levels of comfort and liveability throughout the time spent on board.
The crew quarters are arranged to accommodate up to five people, including the captain, who has a private cabin. The galley is directly connected to the crew areas via a dedicated staircase, ensuring operational efficiency and discreet service.

UPPER DECK
In line with the philosophy of the M Line, the upper decks are also conceived as part of a continuous, fully habitable system. Optimised circulation routes and connections between the yacht’s different areas allow for a seamless use of the outdoor spaces, reinforcing the visual, functional and perceptual continuity that lies at the heart of the project.
The raised wheelhouse has been conceived as an environment fully integrated into the overall design. The helm station is complemented by a comfortable lounge area with a sofa, as well as dedicated storage compartments for water sports equipment and onboard accessories.
The use of LED strip lighting helps define a contemporary and functional environment, transforming a traditionally technical space into an area that fully contributes to the onboard experience.
“With Maiora M|30, we are not simply introducing a new yacht, but giving tangible form to a broader reflection on the meaning of contemporary luxury — understood as the ability to enhance the quality of time, conviviality and authenticity. Maiora M|30 embodies this vision in an exemplary way: it is not a yacht designed to impress, but to be lived in. Its fluid spaces, the seamless continuity between indoors and outdoors, the interplay of light and the constant connection with the water all contribute to creating a relaxed, natural and deeply personal onboard experience,” comments Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group.
